For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki Model 262F6 -- 8'7" 2/2 6wt hexagonal hollowbuilt bamboo rod. Serial no. 11906. The rod is in excellent plus condition with minor signs of use. All sections are full length and straight. Moderately tempered cane. Honey wraps with red tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-tops. The tips are differentiated by one and two bands of red thread at the tip-top. E.C. Powell-style grip 6 1/2" in length. Dual blued nickel silver sliding ring reel seat over a mortised red cedar spacer. The butt cap is comprised partly of cork and a handsome hard woven material. The blued nickel silver truncated Swiss-style ferrules are size 15/64, the fit is perfect. The rod weighs 3.85 oz. The action is medium-fast with plenty of power in the butt section. The tips are a wonderful balance of thinness and strength to provide tippet protection and finesse while still allowing for bushy flies, streamers, large fish, and wind. This is a terrific rod for lakes and large rivers where far and fine casts are the norm.
Includes the original labeled bag and the original brown tube with Mario's logo.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
