A very nice Scott bamboo fly rod, 7'7" 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #66. The rod weighs 3.9 ounces. Mint uncast condition. Fast DF action. I am very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship on this rod, it is truly excellent. Medium light flamed cane done in a two opposed node pattern. Flawless varnish. The main wraps are transparent with black edges and black at the ferrules. The keeper and ferrules have three extra bands of yellow, orange, and maroon. Agate stripper and snake brand guides. Oxidized step ferrules. Attractive aluminum and cork ferrule plugs. The grip is 6" long and shaped to a full wells profile with a small ring of composite cork finished at the front. The uplocking slide band seat has a mortised stabilized burl with black anodized aluminum hardware. The grip is still covered by the shrink plastic. The rod bag is a dark brown cloth with a stiffener and a large size rod tube which is painted brown with a brass top and collar with the Scott logo engraved on the tip. All is packaged into an original Scott tube box as well.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
