Aroner 6’6″ #4 Hunt Pattern Special

A beautiful 6’6” Hunt Pattern Special in absolutely mint, pristine condition. This rod appears to have never been cast let alone fished and looks as though it just came out of the drying room. The rod has a rare wrap configuration with the guide wraps in olive but the intermediate wraps in may rose, an effect which is subtle and quite pretty (I went back through my log and I think it’s the only rod I’ve ever done this way). It boasts a koa reel seat with a standard downsliding band. The hardware is fully oxidized and the ferrules are my standard swiss. The varnish is spar with a flawless glassy finish. The rod is built with a fast dry fly action designed for precise presentations but with plenty of reserve power for longer casts. It comes with my standard tube and bag as well as brass ferrule plugs.
