Connecticut River Tornado

June 18, 2011

A few people got in touch over the past few weeks to ask about the tornado damage in my part of western MA. The storm passed about 40 miles south of me so I wasn’t in the way at all — in fact, I was in the shop working at the time and didn’t even lose electricity.

For those who haven’t seen it, here is a video of the tornado crossing the Connecticut River in Springfield, much further down the watershed from me. Just amazing.
