The Last Three Weeks (Mostly in Pictures)

Well it’s been quiet here on the site for the last few weeks. If you want to know what I’ve been up to the following few photos pretty much sum it up. A lot of long hours in the shop, broken up by a few days down in New York to see some old fishing friends, and then back to the grind. It was a rather short break, and I have so much work to do that I couldn’t in good conscience take any more time away.

Only one highlight is that at one point last week I realized that I was low on ferrule plugs and so sat down to make a few (which is what I was doing when I took these lathe photos). This was the first time that I had made them on the new lathe and it went really really well. I’ll post a few more photos of them sometime soon.
