Back to Work

January 26, 2011

Well, it was a busy few days this past weekend down at the Somerset Show. It was great to see some old friends, and a pretty good number of bamboo rodmakers. Also good to see some customers that I know pretty well and who made the trek in to say hello. I also wanted to especially thank rodmaker Bob Bolt, who graciously let me hang out in his booth for most of the weekend and use it as a home base.

These kinds of fishing shows are always a little hectic, and at times feel overwhelmingly commercial what with all of the latest gizmos and gadgets that are being hawked, but they also do get me thinking about the upcoming fishing season and I also like seeing folks who I don’t get to see very often.

Now it’s back into the shop to try and get a few more rods in the works.
