This issue has been covered by a lot of people who know a lot more about it than I do, but I thought that this recent feature article in National Geographic was a pretty good summation for those who haven’t already been following along (and have been living under a rock?). The article also includes a photo gallery, which, in classic National Geographic fashion, is simply amazing. The list of groups and associations involved in beating back the pebble mine proposal is long and growing, and you can find more detailed information at:
