A Charles Neuner bamboo fly rod, 7'9", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #719. 3.8 ounces. New, unfished condition. The rod action is on the faster side of medium while still being forgiving. The cane has been lightly flamed with small pressed nodes in the three-up pattern. The finish work is superb, the varnish is top shelf. The main wraps are brown with black edges on all and black at the ferrules. Agate stripper in an oxidized frame. The snake guides are also oxidized. The swiss-style ferrules are semi-truncated and oxidized as well. 6" long grip that's shaped to a medium-slim cigar profile. The rod sports an oxidized cap and ring seat over a flamed curly maple spacer with glass-smooth varnish. The rod packs into a light olive color bag and a black painted aluminum tube with brass hardware.
