  • This is an excellent DL Robichaud fly reel, a 4" classically styled version perfect for chasing large salmon. Silver rims and black side plates with a smooth left hand retrieve. I like the disc drag on this reel a lot, which goes from very light to very heavy for a nice versatile range. It shows signs of light use with a little bit of rim rash. I remember when Mr Robichaud was making these in New Hampshire not far from my own shop, and I had the chance to scoop them up at very reasonable prices. Naturally, I didn't and wish I had! This is a very impressive reel and if it were a bit smaller and fit my own salmon rods, I'd snap it up and keep it for myself. Leather zippered reel pouch with 2 drying holes punched through. These reels are also pretty tough to find. A very rare offering especially in this size.

  • Shipping:

    We attempt to ship all of our items via the United States Postal Service and do our best to ship at cost (if other shipping providers such as UPS / FedEx / DHL are required we may add a surcharge to the shipping costs stated below). Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible. Our shipping rates are as follows, and are subject to change without notice.

    Returns & Refunds

    All items come with a  3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.

    Other Terms

    Please note that any international customs duties (such as VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the buyer. Massachusetts residents must pay a 6.25% sales tax on all purchases.
