This model is also denoted \"130910-3P The Redwood\" which is inked on the shaft along with the maker's name, the model, the original owner's name, as well as the serial number \"119-0821\". The rod weighs 13.3 ounces on my scale. Used condition with some soiling to the grip and cosmetic wear throughout, including some rubbing to the varnish here and there and tape residue where the splices were done together (this could be removed, but I will leave it to the new owner to decide whether to do it). The agate stripping guide at the bottom of the midsection has cracked and while currently fishable I would recommend replacing it at some point. The cane is lighter straw in color and done in a three opposed node pattern. Wrapped in green with black tipping throughout with chrome snakes and tip tops. The grip measures 25\" in full, with the top grip measuring 16\", the reel seat 4\", and the bottom grip 5\". The top grip as a mild taper from bottom to top which flares abruptly at the end, and features composite cork. The bottom grip does likewise in the other direction with the bottom of the rod ending in a similar composite cork flare. There are several bands of composite just below each flare. The reel seat is a downlocking polished aluminum slideband over what appears to be a maple wood spacer (the cork on the bottom grip is protruding slightly over the cork check). The rod packs into a canvas rod bag and an aluminum tube with the data sticker affixed to the outside. The cane is a medium straw color and done in a three opposed node pattern. Wrapped in a light olive green with black tipping throughout with two large agate strippers, dark snakes, and tip tops. The grip measures 25\" in full, with the top grip measuring 16\", the reel seat 4\", and the bottom grip 5\". The top grip as a mild taper from bottom to top which flares abruptly at the end, and features composite cork. The bottom grip does likewise in the other direction with the bottom of the rod ending in a similar composite cork flare. Medium lightly flamed cane done in a three up node pattern, with some of the nodes having been very darkly flamed (especially the first set above the grip). Caramel colored wraps with black tipping throughout with a windway wrap just above the grip. Two agate stripping guides with chrome guides and tip tops. The top section of the grip is 16\" long with a steady taper to the top and with an abrupt flare made of composite cork (there is also a composite ring an inch below it). Bright commercial downlocking reel seat over a birch spacer. The bottom portion of the grip is 5\" long and has a similar cork composite flare with a composite ring an inch above it. The spliced joints each have a wood splice protector with a thick ribbon of twine for wrapping them on.
