The reel also boasts a line guard fixed to the middle pillar, which you seldom see (the pillar has some grooving in one corner so my guess is the guard was attached later). It's a nice touch. The reel is perfect mechanically. Champagne anodized frame with black sideplates and silver anodized handle, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and the Bogdan nameplate. The reel boasts the revered Bogdan brake drag and a 2:1 multiplying retrieve. It comes in a non-original but handsome drawstring fleece-lined pouch.
