For sale here is a scarce reel from Thomas Cemm, a Hardy St. John click/pawl fly reel made in the late 1940s in Vancouver, BC. The polished "spitfire" finish is original, but the brass foot and counterweight were later additions made by the reel maestro Bill Archuleta. The foot is 3 1/2" in length. The line included with the reel is a near new AirCell Supreme DT8 with about 150 yards of 30# Dacron backing. The diameter of the reel is 3 7/8" and with the line and backing the reel weighs 12 1/8 oz. Mechanically the reel works very well with an effective range of tension to suit one's needs. There is no excessive end play or wobble. A great reel for the price and one you don't see for sale very often.
