Most trout eating adult midges will accept a well-presented Parachute Adams, Harrop's Adult Midge, or Griffith's Gnat. But, most "midging" trout are primarily targeting emergers due to ease of capture - chasing tiny bugs that fly away is a waste of energy stores critical to winter survival.
Tied on a TMC 2488 #22 for incredible holding strength. Apply natural CDC floatant to the wing to suspend in the film.
