It weighs 9.6 ounces on my scale. Serial 11-11-02. The rod weighs 9.6 oz. Excellent lightly used condition. Some casting cracks at the ferrule wraps are the only real sign of use. Medium action. Light flame temper cane with three-up node pattern. Excellent varnish. The wraps are maroon with chrome snakes and tip-tops. The step ferrules are oxidized and come with wood ferrule plugs. The rod is a straight-as-a-pin out of Fred’s shop. The foregrip is 5 1\/4\" long and shaped to a heavy cigar profile. The double-nut downlocking screw-lock is clean and oiled, with a hidden pocket cap under the bottom grip. The bottom grip is 6\" long with a varnished wood cap.
