VFT11907
For sale here is a great example of the tiny 2 3/4" diameter Hardy Silex Multiplier, made between 1928 and 1939. Designed, said Hardys, as being "suitable for fine fishing in low water". According to John Drewett's Hardy book, only around 400 of these reels were ever made. In good, smooth free-turning condition. Original ribbed foot, unfiled; flat ivorine release lever and half-moon regulator. Slight, yet original, damage to one pillar where back plate screw hole was badly drilled - see last photo.
