For sale here is a Hardy Sunbeam 2 3/4" fly reel. Enameled body. An ebonite handle, brass foot riveted to backplate and fitted with a Bickerdike style line guide. No spool wobble and a tiny amount of end play. I cannot get the spool retaining screw off as the brass rivet in the spindle boss spins when the screw is turned. From the looks of the other rivets on the backplate, it appears to be a single pawl/spring. From the 1950's I believe.
