Very modest use, with slight cracking at the ferrule wraps and the grip was cleaned leaving it ridgy. One tip was replaced (by me) many years ago and is slightly (one shade) darker in temper. The \"Standard\" was a blond\/wheat straw color rod with 3-up nodes, and this one fits that description. Honey lemon color main wraps with a band of red and yellow at the keeper and male ferrules. The ferrules are wrapped in brown. SRMC carbide stripper and black snake guides. The step ferrules are polished bright and fits well. The cork reel seat is a 4 1\/2\" long medium cigar. The mortised, varnished seat is comprised of a tiger stripe maple spacer with a nickel silver cap and ring. The cap has the stamp \"H.L. Leonard Rod Co, The Rod Maker, Since 1869.\" The rod comes with a top hat ferrule plug. The rod comes in a tan poplin bag with a leather pull tab and a Leonard data tag.
