The snake guides are high arch black H.S.S. The ferrules are oxidized jet black and are the pot-belly step ferrules I favor. They come equipped with brass and cork ferrule plugs. The 5 1\/2\" long cork grip is a slim cigar with a hidden pocket cap for the upsliding sliding band seat. The ring is nickel silver and oxidized black with the stamp \"Aroner, Maker.\" A black anodized aluminum acorn of our manufacture retains the ring from coming off the amber-colored, densely-figured bird's eye mottled spacer. Both the seat and all rod shafts are perfectly varnished in blemish-free spar varnish. The olive poplin bag has a pocket to retain the ferrule plugs when not in use.
