Serial #21595, made in 1957. The rod is in excellent original condition with a few minor exceptions. There is a light cosmetic scrape on the butt section. There is a bent guide on one of the tips as well as one on the mid-section. The foot has been pulled out of the wrap on the mid section and needs to be re-wrapped. Lastly, the bottom wrap on the stripping guide is beginning to crack at the top of the guide foot. All sections are full length with a set in one tip. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rod features darkly tempered cane with caramel colored wraps. The script remains clean and bold. The cigar-style grip is 7\" in length with only light soiling. Down-locking nickel silver reel seat with a removable fighting butt. The fighting butt is 5\" in length and remains in excellent condition. The ferrules are size 19\/64 and 13\/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 8.30 oz. without the fighting butt, and 10.35 oz. with. The action is medium-fast.
