Winston Boron IIIx 9' 5wt 5 pc. Graphite Fly Rod

For sale here is a R.L. Winston Boron IIIx 9' 5wt fly rod in a 5 piece configuration. Serial no. 185167. The rod is in like new condition. The rod features a dark green sanded blank with matching wraps and red tipping at the winding check and signature wrap. Halfway between the grip and stripping guide is the Winston logo with metallic silver tipping on either side. Bright guides. All ferrules fit together tightly and securely. Sculpted nickel silver winding check. Reverse half wells grip made of the finest quality cork. The cork has only light handling marks. Handsome nickel silver up-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured elder wood spacer. The bottom of the butt cap reads, "R.L. Winston Rod Co.". The action is fast while still retaining a good amount of feel in the tip section. This makes for better finesse casts, tippet protection, and playing the fish. The butt section has plenty of power for long casts and big fish. This is a perfect all around trout rod capable of everything from dries to small streamers. Includes original embroidered bag, original tube, and warranty card.
