For sale here is a Gary Lacey third generation Granger Registered Model 6622 - 6'6" 2/2 for a 3 or 4 weight line. Serial no. 2004501. The rod is in excellent condition. All section are full length though all three sections have easily removable sets. Black wraps with gold tipping. Deeply blued guides. Rust colored agate stripping guide. Mildly swelled butt. Brass ring hook keeper. Nickel silver winding check. Western style grip. The grip has a dark purple tint around the high spots caused by the black bag. There are also a few marks from the guides while housed in the tube. The reel seat is a very close replica Granger's patented uplocking reel seat. The seat does show some wear in the form of minor nicks and scratches. The step-down nickel silver ferrules are size 11/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 3.90 oz. The action is medium-fast dry-fly with a stout butt paired with fine tips for finesse and tippet protection. Includes original bag and black tube with hand engraved medallion on the front. Gary Lacey makes every attempt to keep in style with the original Grangers from the cane color to the rod tube. The Model 6622 is Gary's own shorter adaptation of the original taper. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
