Wright & McGill / Old Faithful Rod Co. "True Action" 8'6 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Old Faithful Rod Co. "True Action" bamboo rod made by Wright & McGill. 8 1/2 feet, three sections with two tips for a six weight line. These rods were made in the late 1940s and 1950s. This rod remains in excellent condition. No repairs are evident and none are needed. One tip does have a slight set. The reel seat was upgraded to the uplocking Wright & McGill reel seat and included with this sale is the original maroon aluminum reel seat that the rod came with originally. The rod weighs 5.1 oz. Comes with original bag and labeled tube. The ferrules sizes are 17/64 and 11/64 and the ferrule fit is good.
