I wanted to give a quick plug about the upcoming Catskill Fly Fishing Museum event — “Summer Fest” –which is taking place this weekend in Livingston Manor, NY. You can find more detailed information here, but it’s certainly a great cause for rivers, trout, and the fly-fishing tradition. Among other things there will be plenty of chances to buy, sell, and trade tackle, as well as a few other events which should be great for anglers and their families.

I’ll  be heading there myself (Junior can’t make it unfortunately) and I’m looking forward to catching up with some old friends and enjoying the weekend. If you’re coming I hope to see you there and don’t hesitate to say hello.
