Ron Kusse was a member of the Catskill school of fly rod building who served as Vice President of the Leonard Rod Company during most of the 1970's. He would later go on to build rods under his own name, rods that embody the hallmarks of eastern rodbuilding - swelled butts, fine tips, and crisp casting actions. Ron passed away in 2016 but his rods are still admired by collectors and bamboo fly rod aficionados. If you are looking for a Kusse fly rod or have one to sell, please contact us.
