Otto Zwarg Reels
As the direct descendant of the Vom Hofe reel company, Otto Zwarg's reels bore all of the hallmarks of the famous name. Zwarg had been the head reelmaker at Vom Hofe and purchased the company when it went out business in the 1940's, ultimately moving it from New York to Florida. He made reels until 1960 in three models - the Saguenay, the Laurentian, and the Maximo - all of which are highly desirable today.
