An EW Edwards Perfection model fly rod, 9', 3-piece, 2-tips, and built for what feels to me like a #4 or #5. Medium slow action. 6.1 ounces. Nicely refinished with all sections full length with no visible damage or delamination. The cane is flamed with no discernible node pattern. Excellent varnish with yellow main wraps and red edges. A set of windaways of diminishing size decorate the lower 8" of the butt. The step ferrules are polished bright. The stripper guide is agate and the guides on the mid are all period high slant snakes. Hard rubber was used as a front and rear grip check. The cork grip is a medium cigar 5 1/4" long and thankfully uncleaned. The real seat is an all nickel silver with a slide band and a soldered pocket cap. The Hardy LRH on my desk fits into this seat perfectly. The bottom of the seat features a large hard rubber cap. The grey cloth bag is original and the tube is as well.
