A nice Ron Kusse quad fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #4 or #5 line. Fast dry fly action. The hang tag lists this rod as 3 5/8 ounces and as serial number Q9702. Excellent condition overall, appears to me to be very lightly used. Lovely medium flamed cane in a two opposed node pattern construction. Superb varnish. Red wraps with black tipping at the grip, ferrules, and tip-tops. Belt sanded nodes. The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are excellent. Oxidized step ferrules with a faint "Kusse" stamped in a cartouche on the female below the welt. Slim cigar grip 5 1/2" in length and 11 corks long, which tapers to a light quad form as it approaches the blank. Spanish cedar spacer which forms directly to the rear of the grip without a cork check. Clean well-cared-for grip with just a tiny bit of ridging as it tapers at the very front. Cap and ring seat hardware which shows some signs of generalized brassing. "Ron Kusse, Maker" is stamped in a cartouche. The rod comes packed in a yellow poplin with a hang tag and a black crackle paint tube with brass hardware.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
