A very nice Edward vom Hofe #2 Perfection trout reel, the most coveted trout model in the Vom Hofe lineup. At 2 3/4" in diameter, this rare little beauty is the perfect sized EVH to pair with your finest 7' or 7'6" rod. It is made of German silver and hard rubber, and it has the sliding drag disc with the delicate arrowhead adjuster underneath the “S” shaped handle with the red lacquer largely present at the drag stations. "360" and "2" are stamped into the foot crossbar, noting the model and size respectively. No serial number present. It carries the ‘83 patent on the rear grease cap with an on/off click that works as intended, and favors RHW. There are no cracks in the hard rubber, which has just a touch of the brown undertone that these reels tend gain over time. Opposite the foot on the front plate the initial "JHW" are engraved a very tiny script. There are no replaced parts or line burns in the rims or pillars that I could find. The foot measures 2 1/2" in length and appears unmolested. The reel packs into the original leather case which is in fine condition with a functioning strap and the Vom Hofe stamp on the underside. A very fine example of one of the most desirable Vom Hofe trout reels.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
