A nice DJ Duck model 201E fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #4 line. 3.2 ounces. Medium full flexing action. Lightly used condition with just a bit of hand soiling to the grip. Oven tempered cane with nodes in a spiral pattern. Carbide stripper and black stainless guides. The main wraps are transparent light yellow with brown at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. Very good flawless varnish. "DJ Duck, Maker, 201E" is lettered one flat right, and on the wrap flat "7' — 4", and one flat right "No 2009". Swiss ferrules that are polished bright. The grip is 6" long and a very blunt cigar which is tapered slightly at the front. The seat is interesting, part cork, and 80% birdseye maple. A knurled ring and pocket cap are the polished reel seat hardware. The rod packs into a tan cloth bag and brushed aluminum tube with a brass collar, top, and and bottom, possibly made by the same company in Japan that made the late model Leonard tubes.
