A nice Hardy Featherweight silent check fly reel. 2 1/2" diameter, and with a fairly neutral bias (the line guard is set up for LHW). Made by Hardy for Abercrombie and Fitch. Smooth alloy foot. Two-screw latch plate with a reversible U-shaped two-screw nickel silver line guard. Good used condition with normal cosmetic wear throughout. The reel packs into a leather and canvas Orvis bag.
