A very nice Hardy Silex fly reel, 3 3/4" diameter. Excellent overall condition with no meaningful issues that I could find save for some very minor cosmetic wear. The reel could not have been used all that much despite it's age. Leaded finish with the integrated crank with dual ivorine handles (one is a little sticky but should loosen with use). It has the factory 1/4 rim cut. Unaltered full length smooth brass foot. Pleasing click drag and the lever, tension adjuster, and spool release all working as they should. The reel comes in a classic Hardy selvyt pouch. A fine example of this early reel.
