For sale here is a quite remarkable cane rod from Homer Jennings -- 7 1/2' 2/2 for a 4 weight line. Serial no. 790. Made in 2018. Like new condition. 

The rod features darkly flamed & tempered cane with a flawless varnish. Transparent crimson wraps and rust colored tipping. Bright hardware throughout. Beautiful salmon colored agate stripping guide. Slightly swelled butt. Nickel silver checks. The cigar grip measures 5 3/4" in length. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised wood spacer. The truncated Swiss-style ferrules have a perfect fit, nice and snug. Includes original bamboo ferrule plug. The rod weighs 4 oz. The dry-fly action is on the faster side of medium-fast with plenty of backbone thanks in part to the swelled butt. The thin tips allow for considerable finesse and accuracy. Includes the original bag and tube with brass fittings.

We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
