For sale here is a beautiful Marc Aroner "Spring Creek" 7'6 3/2 4wt bamboo rod. Near mint condition. This Spring Creek Model rod, a lighter honey-colored version of the Hunt Pattern rods with a bit more moderate action, has Marc's gorgeous transparent olive wraps with red tipping. The varnish job is flawless as Marc is well-known for, although there are some very minor marks in the butt section varnish. Mirrored tips. "3-up" node pattern. Handsome swelled butt. Cigar grip 5 3/8" in length with only the lightest evidence of handling from lawn casting. Oxidized cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised bird's eye maple spacer. Stamped into the butt cap is, "Aroner MAKER". The Swiss-style ferrules are size 9/64 and 15/64 with an excellent fit. The rod includes beautiful hand turned brass ferrule plugs. The rod weighs 3.85 oz. Superb medium fast action, capable of great delicacy laying a fly down softly in front of a large spring creek trout. Includes original bag and tube with brass fittings and Aroner stamp on the cap.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
