A nice Mike Clark (South Creek Limited) "Anita Rae" signature model bamboo fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #3 line. Serial #032 and the rod weighs 3.3 ounces on my scale. The maker and rod specs are inked just above the grip and "Anita Rae" is inked about 6" up the shaft. Near mint condition. It may have been fished a time or two, but that's about it from what I can see. Medium fast dry fly action. The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are excellent. Lightly flamed cane done in a spiral node pattern. The varnish is excellent. Wrapped black with red tipping throughout. The oxidized Swiss style ferrules are engraved on both the male and female. They come with an aluminum and cork ferrule plug. The serial number is inked again just above the male ferrule on each tip. The grip is 6 1/2" long and shaped to a half wells profile. Rear cork check features a rope knurl as do the oxidized cap and ring, which are also engraved and feature Mike's maker design engraved amidst the general design. The reel seat spacer looks to me to be red manzanita and is flatted and varnished. The rod packs into a blue chamois rod bag and a black aluminum tube with brass fittings and Mike's data sticker affixed to the outside of the tube.
