An extremely scarce DL Robichaud Traun Number 2 Fly Reel, approximately 3 3/16" diameter and set up for LHW. I have never come across another one of these reels, and I cannot imagine many of them were made. The reel is mint and unfished. It comes with a spare spool. Anti-reverse drag. A classic S-handle style reel with silver anodized frame, black anodized spool, and black anodized side plates. The side plate and spool on the cranking side are both ported. The back plate lists the maker and model in a subtle script. The drag is adjusted via the dial that holds on the handle. Both the reel and spare spool come in matching black leather drawstring pouches which I suspect are original from the maker. A very interesting reel indeed!
