An Everett Garrison 209 bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip. 3.8 ounces. Serial Q-8-10. Very pleasing medium-fast action. Used but very good condition. The grip has some ridging due to cleaning. There are no cracks at the ferrule wraps and the varnish is firm and in excellent condition on the butt and one tip (the second tip has some bag impression below the bottom snake guide and a few minor varnish chips). Overall the rod is in great shape for its age. It has the trademark resorcinol glue. The main wraps are almost transparent lemon with brown at the keeper and ferrules. The stripping guide is a Perfection with high-arch black snakes. The ferrules are polished Super Z and the fit is perfect. The rod is nice and straight. The grip is a 6" long blunt cigar. The reel seat is all cork with a nickel silver ring and pocket cap. The original tube and bag have been lost and replaced with a 2-piece Leonard bag. The replacement aluminum tube has been hand-crafted, with a sleeve fitted over the top. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
