A Hardy Husky fly reel, 3 3/8" diameter and set up for LHW. Silent adjustable check. Though the reel has a line on it, it does not appear to have ever been fished as I can find no sign of wear. The Husky was part of Hardy's Lightweight Series of reels. This was one of two wide drum Lightweight models made in the mid to late 1960s, the Zenith being the other. 1 1/8" spool width. Ribbed brass foot. Designed to hold up to a WF9 plus 200 yards of 20# backing. This one packs into a handsome leather zipper case with a small brass plaque on the side, and the model engraved on the plaque.
