A nice CW Jenkins bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial GA75-68. The rod weighs 3.7 ounces on my scale. Medium slow action and the rod flexes down to the grip. Very light use, no grip soiling. There are a few very light scratches to the varnish on the butt and casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. The ferrules are tight and the rod is straight. Blonde cane done in a three up node pattern. Very well done varnish. The main wraps are color preserved brown with yellow edges on all and an extra band of red at the keeper, ferrules, and tip top. The swiss style ferrules are polished. Chrome snakes, stripper, and tip tops. The 6" cigar grip is slightly weighted to the front. The mortised and varnished cap and ring seat has a bit of chipping from a reel foot (I think the wood is maple.) The cap and ring are polished nickel silver. The rod comes in a tan cloth bag with a frost coat gray aluminum tube with brass hardware.
