A Lyle Dickerson "Bergman" 7612 bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip. 3.6 ounces. 1948 manufacture date. Feels like a #3/4 line to me. Used condition, with soiling to the grip, a few modest varnish chips here and there. One tip has a wee bit of varnish roughness just below the tip-top, but otherwise the varnish is solid. The second tip has a clear wrap just below the tip-top though it's not clear to me what issue it was meant to address (I couldn't see anything obvious). Wheat straw color cane with a 3-up node pattern. Main wraps are tan with black edges on all. Extra wrap of black, tan, and black at 16 1/2", 17 1/2", 18 1/2", and 19 1/2". Perfection stripper and high arch black snake guides. The snakes show some wear. There are some rub marks on the cane just below the stripper on the butt. The step ferrules are oxidized black. Both tips have a slight downward set. The 5 3/4" long cork grip is turned to a western style. The spacer for the aluminum downlocker screw-lock is varnished walnut. Nickel silver pocket cap for the bottom. The rod comes with an olive-colored drawstring cloth bag and the aluminum tube has a brass collar and top.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
