A Lyle Dickerson 7613 model bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 or #6. 4.1 oz. "Wm Muer 1954" is inscribed on the butt. Nice overall condition with some casting cracks at the ferrule wraps and some brassing to the inner snake guides but nothing substantial. Fast D.F. type action. Wheat straw color cane with three-up node pattern on the butt and one tip and two opposed on the other — possibly a later replacement. The varnish is good. The wraps are brown with black edges on all with an extra set of small wraps at 16, 17, 18, and 19 inches on the butt. Smallish white agate for the stripping guide. High arch HSS black snake guides. The step ferrules are oxidized and pinned. The grip is 6" long and styled to a blunt cigar profile. The grip has been cleaned by sanding. The downlock aluminum screw-lock has a few micro-scratches and dings and the pin in the barrel has been driven in a wee bit too hard. The wood spacer is either light walnut or butternut. The pocket cap is German silver. The bag and tube are original. The tube has a bill of sale from Len Codella (it lists this as being for a #3 line but that's not correct). These 7613 models are very scarce indeed!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
