A Marc Aroner graphite fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #5 and #6 lines. Serial 214. 2.8 ounces. New, never used, with a manufacture date of approximately 1985–1986. Medium action. Spigot ferrule design (more expensive and superior to today’s sleeve over ferrules). I built this rod on a J. Kennedy Fisher blank. Cherry red silk main wraps with blue edges, SRMC carbide #10 stripper and black H.S.S. snake guides with a chrome tip top. The ferrules are re-reinforced with nickel silver herringbone checks and the front cork check is in the same style. The grip is 6 1/2" long with a hidden pocket cap. Varnished mahogany spacer and aluminum up-lock screwlock. The rod comes with a tan cloth bag and aluminum tube.
