A Marc Aroner "Spinoza" bamboo fly rod, 7', 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. 3.6 ounces. Mint, un-cast condition. Medium-fast to fast action, but slightly slower than most of my 3-piece rods. All my "Spinoza" rods are built from Pre-Embargo cane and have Payne-style pressed nodes, as well as a Payne-style flamed and oven-temper cane that gives it a rich chestnut color. The stripper is a red agate. The main wraps are brown with yellow edges and a band of maroon at the keeper and male ferrules. The snake guides are antique black high arch H.S.S. The ferrules are oxidized jet black and are step ferrules in the Pot-Belly fashion. The ferrule plugs are the aluminum-and-cork finial style. The grip is 5" long and turned to a medium cigar profile. The cap and ring and rear cork check have a fine coin-edge knurl, and are all oxidized jet black. All of the hardware, ferrules, and tubes are made here in my shop. The butt cap is stamped "Spinoza Rod, Spinoza Rod Co., Makers." The wood spacer is mortised, perfectly varnished, and spectacular curly koa. The olive color rod bag has a pocket for the ferrule plugs and the polished aluminum tube has brass appointments, with the collar sporting the Spinoza stamp. I've made only a small number of these Spinoza models and they seldom come up for sale.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
