A Pflueger Supreme 578 fly reel, approximately 4" diameter and set up for RHW. This was an early 1960's saltwater classic that predated many of the Fin-Nor and Seamaster reels that would follow and it remained a budget-friendly option for chasing tarpon and other large species. Anti-reverse drag with a release lever on the backplate. It weighs 13.4 ounces with the backing loaded on it. Black frame and silver spool with a dial drag adjustment on the spool (there is a tiny medallion that has come off the drag adjuster but which could easily be glued back on). I believe these were designed to hold something close to a 10-weight line. This one has some honest cosmetic use, but no meaningful issues that I could find. It comes in the original zipper pouch and associated real care items including gear grease, real oil, and a screwdriver.
