A Ron Kusse "Quad Magnum" bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip and built for a #5. Serial 0140. 3.8 oz. Mint condition. The hang tag states this is the first rod of this series. 4-strip construction. Fast DF action. Superb varnish job. The cane is blond with 2-opposed node system. The main wraps are light amber with thin orange/red edges. The stripper is an agate and the snakes and tip-top are chrome plated. The ferrules are polished step. The grip is 5 3/4" long, a cigar tapering to the butt and flatted slightly to conform to the rod shaft. No front cork check. The slide-band reel seat wood is tiger stripe maple, hand flatted and varnished. An integral wood lip meets the back of the cork grip. The cap and ring are nickel silver. The ring is engraved with the word "Magnum" and the cap is roll-die stamped "Ron Kusse, Maker" in a cartouche. The female ferrule plug comes with a cork and nickel silver ferrule plug. The white colored cloth bag has a stiffener and has 2 hang tags — one states this rod is the first of a series with the owner's name and the date of 5/16/01. The aluminum tube is black crackle painted and has a brass top, collar, and bottom.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
