A nice Paul Young Perfectionist fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip (one short) for what feels to me like a #5 line. Full flexing action. 2.8 oz. Serial #4099. Decent fishable condition, but has seen a good bit of use judging by the amount of grip soiling. One tip is 3" short and has a replaced guide wrap, while the longer tip also has a safety wrap. The varnish is in good shape, save for one bit of overdrip on the ferrule wrap on the butt section. Flamed cane in 2 opposed node pattern. Brown wraps, the carbide stripper is slightly bent toward the grip. Chrome snake guides and chrome tip tops. The #14 ferrules are made of black anodized aluminum. 5 1/2" long grip with a flatted cork reel seat with 2 black anodized aluminum rings. The grey cloth bag is non-original as it is 3" short. The rod comes in an aluminum tube. A good option for a very fishable PHY Para 15 that won't break the bank and allows you to leave the pristine one pristine.
