The rod features a sanded rust-colored fiberglass blank with matching wraps and pale gold tipping. The script remains clean and bold and has the original owner's name along with the rod information. The grip is moderately soiled and does show some ridging throughout. Dual aluminum sliding ring reel seat. The Swiss-style ferrules have an excellent fit, snug and smooth. White witness marks. The rod weighs in at 4.95 oz. The rod has a full flexing action with plenty of backbone perfect for throwing spoons, rooster-tails, and jigs. Terrific for the average trout stream and lakes.
