 For sale here is a Scott Rod Co. Model G904-4 -- 9' 4wt 4 pc. graphite fly rod. The rod is in excellent+++ condition. The Scott G-Series rods are widely hailed as some of the greatest graphite rods ever made and unlike many graphite rods, they have appreciated with age. The rod was built at the latter end of production for the original G series rods in the early 2000's. The rod features an unsanded blank characteristic of Scott rods. Maroon wraps. Spigot ferrules with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. Red witness marks for easy alignment. The script on the rod written in red remains fully intact. Cigar grip 6 3/4" in length is in excellent shape with only light soiling. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised rosewood spacer. The rod weighs a lean 3.10 oz. The action is the classic medium-fast graphite action that made the G rods famous. Full of feel and finesse and also plenty of power.
