This rod has a wrapped over truncated step ferrule. The grip has 6" of cork turned to a faintly expressed full Wells. The reel seat wood is unvarnished west coast maple burl. The seat hardware is polished nickel silver down lock screwlock with a double rope knurl nut, an inletted slide and a pocket cap with a rope knurled cap (note: the pocket cap is slightly loose – will rotate about 10°, but will not come off.) The rod packs into a dark red cloth bag and brown painted aluminum tube with a Sweetgrass sticker applied.
