A Thomas & Thomas “The Catskill Legend” bamboo fly rod, 8', 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Mint condition. This rod is #5 of a limited edition of 15 that were produced to honor a number of Catskill luminaries and intended to help raise funds for the Catskill Fly Fishing Center. Fast action. Flamed cane with darker patches and three-up node pattern. Impregnated. Gold main wraps with light brown edges on all and extra bands of yellow and brown at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. A light scheme of dark brown intermediates. Carbide stripper and black stainless snakes. The Swiss-style ferrules are collared in typical T&T fashion and are polished bright. The grip is a 6" long slim/medium cigar. The reel seat is all nickel silver and provides most of the weight of this rod, due to the necessity of engraving the Catskill Fly Fishing logo, and the names of many of the Catskill fishing luminaries. The engraving includes several mayflies and “Ltd. Edition 15 rods”. It also has the “Thomas + Thomas, Makers” stamp and the ring is engraved “The Catskill Legend.” The package includes a tan cloth bag, brushed aluminum tube with brass fixtures, T&T logo sticker, and T&T paperwork and the bill of sale. A great collectible piece for the Catskill enthusiast.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
