An excellent Thomas and Thomas Hendrickson fly rod, 7'6" 2-piece, 2-tip built for a #5 line. Serial #5237. Nice medium-fast action. Very good condition, used but not abused. Grip is lightly soiled and there is a tiny amount of edge wear to the ferrule oxidation. Flamed cane in a mild "tiger stripe" pattern, 3-up node construction. As with most T&T rods, beautiful varnish and great attention to design detail. Wraps are clear with brown edges, black at the swiss ferrules. Unusually large 8" western-style grip is composed of small 1/4" corks. The reel seat is an all nickel silver uplocking screw lock with a nice mortised walnut spacer with black bands in the wood. The slide is paired off from the nut and is stamped "Thomas & Thomas, Makers". "7 1/2' #5 Hendrickson ser #5237" is inscribed on the wrap flat. The screw lock is polished bright and the ferrules oxidized. Original T&T bag and black crackle painted tube with brass top, collar, and bottom. T&T data sticker declares the weight at 3 3/8 oz. but my scale has it at 5.5 oz.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
